This place is phenomenal! This has to be one of the best candy stores I’ve ever been to! They have everything here, honestly, they have candies I’ve never even heard of before as well. The vibe of the story is super cozy too! I have to say this place is worth the trip, and their candy is out of this world! GO HERE!

Stopped in for some Easter candy earlier today. Great selection and reasonable prices. The freshness and quality of their chocolate can't be beat. You can taste the difference. Even though it gets crowded around the holidays, they have an organized system that keeps things moving. The staff is very friendly & genuine.
This place is the absolute best- my dad is obsessed and I can understand why. They are so sweet here and the customer service is outstanding. Last year I brought some chocolates with me to a foreign country, for my in-laws. Even after about 3 days of traveling in checked luggage, the chocolates were fresh and perfect. My in-laws loved them! Josh Early took my huge order and prepared it as close to my departure date as they could to give me the freshest product. I always have good experiences here and have never received a bad product.
I was blown away by the size and selection of chocolates and other candies at this store! Josh Early is a staple in the Lehigh Valley for good reason! It was hard to choose just a few varieties since the options seem endless. I love that they offer plenty of seasonal options that are great for gifts. The price is high but the quality is unmatched.

The atmosphere has a warm, familiar, not-a-chain-store feel. There are so many different chocolate variations to choose from. They have more than chocolate, though. There are nuts and gummies, too. And they sell cute stuffed animals. The people there are friendly and will wrap the candy as a gift for free if you get in the correct checkout line. If you're lucky, they will give you some samples to eat in your car on the way home. If you go around the holidays, allow more extra time to shop since it is typically mobbed with customers.

Josh Early Candies is a wonderful shop with a large variety of high quality and freshly made candies and great gift items too. Stopped in for some candy before seeing a movie as we wanted to save on theater candy prices, and to enjoy a better quality sweet treat. The shop has a great selection of delicious home made candies gummies and so much more. Their candies are made on the premises with high quality ingredients and everything is delicious. Unlike other candy stores that have mass produced candy from factories made with poor ingredients, Josh Early stands alone and you can see and taste the difference. We tried their gummies, caramel marshmallow candy and almond coconut clusters candy and everything was wonderful and delicious . (Pics were taken after we had eaten a lot of the candy, so the amount is not accurate as shown in the pics). When you are looking for a sweet treat for your family or a unique gift item, this is the place to go. Why buy factory mass produced candy with poor ingredients, when you can give your family better quality homemade candy. If you are going to treat yourself, give yourself the best. . Service is friendly and helpful and prices are fair and reasonable considering the high quality ingredients used in all their products. There aren't many places around like this anymore and well worth a visit to this one of a kind candy shop. Great location with a large parking lot and easy access from any direction. Highly recommend. Loved the candy.
I grew up going to the Josh Early Candies location on Tilghman Street in Allentown. Stopped at this location while back in town visiting. Great store. Great selection of candy. Very nice staff. Store is super clean. Thanks for bringing me right back to my childhood!
Mr brother in law calls this my favorite store, and he is probably right. What other store do you walk into that you are greeted with the sweet, delicious aroma of chocolate! And my biggest decision is whether or not to add a tub of nonpareils to the rest of my order! Their chocolate is literally the best and you can’t go wrong with whatever lovely box you pick up. My favorites are the Black Lava Sea salt caramels and the vanilla buttercreams. The employees are always so helpful and friendly. An extra bonus for my kids is that this is the only place locally that they can shop for Jellycats, if you know you know! Can’t wait to be back to my favorite store soon!

The people at Josh Early are friendly, and the chocolates are delicious. My wife likes the varieties with pecans most. I love the dark chocolate nonpareils. The volcano ones were interesting and good.
Just got the last of the coconut covered marshmellows for my parents. They were so fresh and were very much enjoyed!! The staff at the Nazareth pike location could not possibly be any more kind, friendly and helpful!! Always a pleasant experience and the best smelling store this side of the Mississippi !!!!
The candy at Josh Early is always fresh and there is a large assortment to choose from. We like the milk chocolate pecan bark. Living in NJ we always make a stop when we are in the Bethlehem area. The staff is always helpful and courteous.
Want the best chocolates you have ever, EVER had? Stop by here asap. It's insanely good stuff. I honestly love this place: amazing candy, lots of choices, alternatives like sugar free, so clean you could perform surgery on the floor, and helpful staff who know the products. The prices are not low, but the quality makes it worth it. I go out of my way to shop here. You should, too.
Their candy never disappoints. I stop every year for my grandfather’s birthday present. At 97 he is always happy for his molasses candy. Thank you for always making his birthdays a happy and sweet day.

I was a first time customer recently. I am not from the Allentown area, but I must see the folks that are in this area are extremely lucky to have such a wonderful business in their community. I was thoroughly impressed with a well kept and well supplied store every item I bought was exceptionally delicious and the highest quality. The staff was extraordinarily polite and courteous.
The chocolate delights that comes from Josh Early is the best that could ever be asked for. Their selection is the most you could ever expect and it includes so many ways to say, I love you, get well soon, happy birthday, happy anniversary, or any other reason you have to make someone special feel loved and smile. We've shopped at Josh Early monthly (at least!) for years. Their chocolates impress even friends who travel the world. Their staff is unfailingly pleasant and service prompt. A Josh Early family member even got on the phone to coach us after our dogs got into nonpareils we'd brought home for the holidays and left on a table.
The chocolate is the BEST! But the experience of walking through the store, especially at this time of year, is heartwarming. The staff ALWAYS treats me as if I was a member of their family. They even wrapped my purchases with expertise and care. They don’t charge extra for wrapping either!

I’ve moved from the Lehigh Valley and go out of my way to visit Josh Earle’s when I return. Great quality chocolates (and other candies) that are simply incredible. Old world charm and a sales team that is helpful and knowledgeable. Doesn’t get much better!

Only travel there one time a year. Every year for 30 years. It's great there. A little pricey but the customer service is way past a Star Rating of 5. Many employees there have been there for years. You feel good when leaving. Your items are also gift wrapped. I always stop by on the way home to West Virginia. Trust me. You will not be disappointed.
Always a treat to visit Josh Early candies. Beautiful store displays, many, many options for great candies. I really love the Habanero dark chocolate but every kind I've had was very good. Nice store, friendly staff and delicious candy. 5 stars every time!
